Generally we send request through Firefox browser to the server and then wait for response to continue.
But to send multiple requests before having any responses, Pipelining can be very effective technique. It also reduces the download time of any page. To enable the Pipelining into the address bar you must type “about: config “and then after hitting enter button, it will scroll down. You will see the following entries:
- network.http.pipelining,
- network.http.proxy.pipelining,
- network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Now set the two pipelining values to “true” and set “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to some number like 8. It means it will make 8 requests at once.
Firefox enters a low mode of frequency when the mouse is not moved for a few seconds. By reducing threshold we can make its interface more responsive. To do this, type about: config and click enter, select New > Integer, type content.switch.threshold. After clicking ok enter 25000 and to finish click ok.
